The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) provides an alternative to traditional litigation to resolve claims involving vaccine-related injuries. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Trust Fund

Each time a CDC-recommended vaccine is administered to a child, the Department of the Treasury collects a $0.75 tax for each disease that is prevented.
