Doctor Arrested in Shocking Sexual Abuse Case in Rochester Hills
Rochester Hills Doctor Arrested as Sexual Predator: A Call for Justice in the Wake of Shocking Sexual Abuse Case
In a case that has horrified the Oakland County community of Rochester Hills, a doctor once trusted by many is now facing serious charges as a sexual predator. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has described this as one of the most disturbing sexual assault cases they have ever encountered.
A Trusted Doctor Turned Sexual Predator
Oumair Aejaz, a 40-year-old internal medicine specialist, has been charged with multiple crimes related to sexual assault and predatory behavior. Over the past six years, Aejaz allegedly used hidden cameras to record nude women and children in a Rochester Hills Goldfish Swim School. Investigators are also looking into possible crimes in Gennesse and Macomb Counties.
The charges against him include:
- One count of child sexually abusive activity.
- One count of using a computer to create and reproduce child sexually abusive material.
- Two counts of capturing/recording children under the age of 18 while nude.
- Two counts of capturing/recording two women over the age of 18 while nude.
- Four counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
The investigation uncovered more than 13,000 videos, documenting the horrifying sexual assaults Aejaz allegedly committed against numerous victims. These hidden cameras were placed in places where victims felt safe—hospital rooms, bathrooms, closets, bedrooms, and even a swim school where he recorded children as young as two years old.
A Deep Breach of Trust and Safety
The sense of betrayal in this sexual assault case is profound. Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald emphasized that these women and children were violated in environments they believed were secure—hospital rooms and swim schools—by a sexual predator they trusted. The idea that a doctor, someone committed to healing, could perpetrate such acts of sexual assault has left the community reeling.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard expressed his deep anger, calling this case one of the most depraved examples of sexual predation he has seen in his long career. “Violating children in safe spaces as they change for a fun swim or sexually violating women who are still under sedation from a medical procedure shows his depravity has no limits,” Bouchard said.
A Call to Action Against Sexual Assault
This case highlights the critical need for vigilance and justice in the face of sexual assault and predatory behavior.
