Her positive influence extends beyond her classroom, leaving a lasting impact on her students and peers.
About The International Language Academy
The International Language Academy promotes leadership skills by preparing students to be global learners through dual language immersion and rich cultural experiences. At ILA, students are immersed in daily cultural experiences which foster a celebration of diversity and community involvement. As a community, they uphold high expectations for academics, attendance, and character development.
Giroux Pappas created the Exceptional Educator Program and partners with WXYZ to gather nominations for educators in the area that go above and beyond for their students. Giroux Pappas launched the program in January 2022 to give back to the community it serves and has recognized and donated to a teacher each month.
