A fatal head-on collision occurred in Canton Township early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of a 32-year-old woman from Belleville according to WDIV Detroit.  The incident took place at approximately 12:20 a.m. on June 6, 2024, near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Lilley Road.

Ypsilanti Driver Survives with Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

Authorities report that the Belleville woman was driving westbound on Michigan Avenue in a white Chevrolet Malibu when her vehicle was struck head-on by a red GMC Acadia. The Acadia was driven by a 37-year-old man from Ypsilanti. Tragically, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, while the Ypsilanti man received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
